Anita Diann Brister

Anita “Diann” Brister of Mansfield, 67, passed from this life on July 19, 2023, in Mansfield.
Diann was born on April 20, 1956, in Lovington, NM to Robert Allen and Anita Jo (Joann) (Fisher) Morgan Ray. She graduated from Grand Prairie High in 1974. She married George Mac Brister on October 12, 1974, in Grand Prairie, TX. They had two sons David Mac and Daniel Allen Brister. She retired from City of Mansfield after 22 years of service.

She is proceeded in death by her dad Robert Morgan, stepdad Don Ray both of Sundown, stepbrother Randy Ray of Midland, mother and father-in-law Thurman and Mary Brister, brother-in-law Jim Brister of Quitman.

She is survived by her husband George Brister, son David and wife Hiekii, grandchildren Levi, Ethan, MJ and Bentlee, son Daniel and granddaughter Shelby all of Mansfield, mother Joann Ray, sister Angie and husband Russell Vest all of Levelland, sister-in-law Patricia Ray of Midland, step-sister Lori and husband Brian Taylor of Memphis, TN, sister-in-law Ruthie and husband Jerry Stubblefield, and sister-in-law Glenda Brister all of Quitman. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved her dearly.
