Amado Benavidez

It is with great sadness that the Benavidez Family announce the passing of Amado Benavidez Sr., 78. Able to come home and spend his final moments with his wife, children and grandchildren, he passed peacefully in his home on the morning of August 3rd, 2020 beside the love of his life, Sharon.

Amado lived a life grounded in faith, family and love. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters, wife, children and grandchildren. A love of all things outdoors, he dedicated most of his life providing a loving environment with animals, outdoor activities and family gatherings. Amado was a dedicated and active member of Britton United Methodist church until his health declined, and he strongly grounded his faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amado was preceded in death by his son & daughter, Joseph Benavidez & Resa Benavidez-McMullen, his brother Manuel, sister Maria, his Mother and his Father.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, and his children, Amado Benavidez Jr., Teresa Garza and Jada Barnes; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
