MANSFIELD -- Alva A. Moody went to heaven on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Drive, Arlington. Graveside service: and burial will take place at 4 p.m. in Red Hill Cemetery in Powderly. Visitation: 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. He was born March 6, 1929, and was a faithful servant of Christ his entire life. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Oma Moody; seven children and their spouses; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
