Allen “Craig” Clark of White Settlement, Texas, was called to his eternal home on Thursday, November 2, 2017, after having battled cardiovascular disease for many years.
Craig was born in Dallas, Texas on February 2, 1966, and was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Jo Grizzle Clark, and his mother Nancy Carolyn Butler. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Clark, his father, Allen Gary Clark, his mother-in-law, Joyce Grizzle, two sisters, Lisa Gayle Clark and Angie Bobo, as well as three nephews, Walker Feaster, Erik Martinsson, and David Franklin, Jr., and many friends and acquaintances.
In his teen years, Craig discovered a love of radios and electronics, which eventually became his career focus. A job with a pager company took Craig’s family to Alabama for a number of years, where he and Pam both worked for the City of Gadsden. Craig was instrumental in the installation of a new radio system for the police and fire departments. Then, in 2011, Craig relocated his family back to Texas when he accepted a position with the City of Fort Worth as Communications Manager, and was integral to that city’s installation of a new, multi-million dollar radio system for police and fire departments there.
After Pam’s death, Craig discovered a new love of motorcycles and spent many hours riding his Kawasaki, and talking and riding with other bike lovers.
There will be a memorial service for Craig in a few weeks. And friends and family will be encouraged to come and share memories and stories. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation be made in Craig’s name to the American Heart Association, or any other charity of your choice.
