Ada Lou Young

April 29, 1940 — July 31, 2019

Ada Lou Young, 79, originally from Nocona, Texas transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after having fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Ada was born in Gainesville, Texas on April 29, 1940, to Joseph Jackson and Vera (Landers) Jackson.
Ada worked in banking for over 30 years. She served in banks in Arlington, Ft. Worth, Cleburne, and Houston, Texas, as well as a bank in Franklin, Louisiana.
She will be remembered as a very loving and giving person. Ada loved to bake pies for her family & friends. Ada was a talented seamstress and an avid reader. Ada loved to shop, play bingo and dominoes with friends. Her greatest accomplishments were her two daughters and her only grandson.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her only sister, Wanda Wood of Nocona, Texas, her two daughters Stephannie Waller & son-in-law Del Waller of Mansfield, Texas, and Sharon Marsh & son-in-law Gregg Marsh of Burleson, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved grandson, Beaven Waller of Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by her partner Paul Crider and leaves behind many family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
