Charles Dale Fielding of Alvarado, Texas, a WWII Army Veteran, passed away Tuesday, September 12th
at the age of 96 years, 7 months and 4 days. Charles was born to Samuel and Vada Fielding on February 8, 1927 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Charles retired from Bell Helicopter Textron.
Charles and wife Glenda played bluegrass/gospel music with friends at Stewart’s RV and nursing homes in Johnson County, Texas until 2020.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Samuel W, Fielding and Vada Etta Prentice Fielding, Joyce Nadine Fielding’s mother of their children and wife of 42 yrs. Son Charles Ray Fielding, Eleven brothers and sisters.
Charles is survived by his wife of 16 years, Glenda-Lloyd Fielding, daughter Brenda Blackmon and son-in-law Larry Blackmon of Comanche, Oklahoma, daughter Cindy Pence and son-in-law Sammy Pence of Alvarado, Texas, son Charles W. Fielding and wife Shelley Lustenhouwer of Granbury, Texas and many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Brent Blackmon, April Hampton-Tidwell, Shelby Talley, Mandi Allen, KC Fielding, Katelynn Sharp Traci Purcell and Darla Birkes. Great Grandchildren: Brian Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Kaylee Ford, Gabe Blackmon, Garrett Blackmon, Cole Talley, Lani Talley, Kelsey Allen, Valerie Allen, Karlee Lawson, Lane Sharp, Tucker Sharp, Kylie Fielding, Trinity and Tristyn Purcell. Great-Great Grandchildren: Sydni Patterson, Hayes Raney, Karla Belle Ford, and Taylor Patterson.
