Aleah Ann Weitzman, aged 19, went to her Heavenly home February 11, 2024. She was born December 5, 2004, to Howard and Tanya Weitzman in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Aleah graduated Legacy High School in Mansfield and went on to attend Tarleton University. She was in her second semester as a freshman in pre-nursing classes, aspiring to be a Neonatal Nurse. She was extremely smart, having made the Dean’s List. She could solve any Rubix cube in record time.
Aleah was a shining light to her loved ones and friends. She was funny, always looking to make someone laugh and brighten their day. She was also a little sassy, but she was caring, and an inspiration. Aleah was always willing to give, putting others above herself. Her grace, kindness, and mercy shined above all.
Aleah loved to sing and play the piano. Her favorites to play were “Oceans” and Moonlight Sonata, and she could learn most songs by ear.
Aleah loved animals, especially elephants, snakes, and dragons and she loved being LaLa to her nieces and nephews. She never missed an episode of Good Mythical Morning with Rhett and Link, her favorite show. Aleah was big in the theatre program at Legacy where they will always lovingly remember her by her stage name “Acorn”.
Aleah is preceded in death by father, Howard Weitzman.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Tanya Weitzman and fiancé, Joe Wear; siblings, Hailey Weitzman, Kaitlyn Pegram and husband Cole, Ethan Weitzman, Kylie Wear, and Kinley Wear, nieces and nephews, Samuel Weitzman, Kinslie Pegram, and Hunter Pegram; grandparents, Larry and Patricia Satterfield, Howard and Cheryl Weitzman, and Rebecca Goodfellow; Uncles and Aunts, Dawn Guinther, Richard and LeAnn Satterfield, and Chalee and Deon Utterback; cousins, Burce and Alicia Schaff and their sons Bryden and Barrett, Kimberly Longoria and fiancé Josh and their children Madison, Jaidyn, Bailey, and Jayce, Darien Longoria, Austin Green and daughter Lyla Green, Joshua Satterfield, Leela Smith, Lia Smith, Landon Satterfield, and Jarron Utterback; best friend, Peyton Rowland; and godparents, Jackson and Janae Biers and their son, Jake.
She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her, family, extended family, many friends, and acquaintances.
